This Week's Cravings: We all scream for ICE CREAM!

Hello lovely blogging friends! Before we share our fabulous ice cream recipes - here's a Q-family update:

1) My beautiful baby boy turned one this month. We had a lovely day together & a fabulous party-day with family and friends.

2) I have a new camera, Praise! It's a lot fancier & has tons of buttons, functions, etc etc but I've figured out how to point and click.... so there's  a start.

3) 99% of my kitchen is unpacked and in the cupboards. Now I'm still missing those couple of boxes containing drinking glasses, ice cream maker, randomness - but we are in working order.

4) We hope to get Internet in the next couple months, so my posting should pick up.

Whew!! Now on to the ice cream....

This Week's Cravings: ICE CREAM

National Ice Cream day... a holiday for me. I could eat ice cream every day, no exaggeration. Love it. However, remember my previous comment about my kitchen contents? Still haven't unpacked the ice cream makers (yes, we own 2), so we are diving into the archives ~ Enjoy!

Hunka Hunka Ice Cream

3 facts about me: 1) I love ice cream {we've covered that already...} 2) I love peanut butter, especially on ice cream! 3) I love Elvis - what a dream. So naturally one thing lead to another and this ice cream sundae was the result :)

Don't forget to check Our Treasured Home for the original ice cream recipe - it's delish.

Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream

Needs no explanation really... it does have a cooked base, which gives the ice cream a creamy, custard like texture.

Oh how I love icecream. Great theme! Since I don't have my own ice cream maker, I posted my frozen toffee cheesecake, it tastes like icecream :)
